Dangling (NaPoWriMo 2016 Poem 16)

Summer Ferris Wheel
seasonal circle
in the center
of the city
des lumières
lone photographer
bound to the earth
with age and
empty pockets
sits on the
park bench
surrounded by citizens
and sculptures
breathes the air
of Hugo, De Balzac
Baudelaire, de Beauvoir
turns her face
to the singular
spring sun
with Monet, Degas
Marceau, Maar
stirs with the
wonder of
all that is
golden, good
and grace
and relives
the thrill
the days of
